Testimonials

Kathleen Weil

"Thank you Classic Curtains and Interiors!

Alison was fabulous. She undertook a re-design of three bedrooms. Keep in mind, three bedrooms incorporating three very different tastes.

She listened to our needs, our likes, our preferences and had a great sense of the styles we like...and the ones we didn't like too.

The rooms she created are simply amazing. What she created was an even better version of what we envisioned. Thank you Alison!"

Alison D. Comas, Interior Designer/Owner

Interior Designer and owner, Alison D. Comas, has been in the design field for over 25 years. She was always interested in having a special place that would be welcoming and informative for clients as she helped them create the home of their dreams.

She earned her design degree, with Highest Distinction, from the prestigious New York School of Interior Design while working at the NYC design firm of Beaumont & Co. This degree coupled with her work experience and her Cum Laude BA degree from Georgetown, gave her a solid foundation in design and the fine arts.

Her private firm, Alison D. Comas Interiors, LLC, was established in 2003 after many exhortations from friends and relatives to help them with the design of their homes. She has worked on private homes not only here in NY but also CT, MA, VA, & MD.

Cynthia Guilianti, Interior Designer

Cynthia Guilianti is an accomplished Interior designer who brings over 25 years experience to the table. For more than 40 years her mother managed one the tri-state's largest window treatment manufacturers and thus gave her invaluable experience into the window treatment industry.

She developed an incredible sense of style and artistry which she refined at the Fashion Institute of Technology where she earned a bachelors degree in interior design.

Not long after graduation she was designing interiors for some of the most spectacular homes and offices for a small boutique design firm.  Eventually moving to a large architectural design firm in the Flatiron District where she lead residential and commercial projects, including the world wide headquarters of fashion icon Kenneth Cole. She now brings her vast experience to Classic Curtains and Interiors.

Cynthia works one on one with clients to help them realize their dreams of a perfect interior in a friendly and unrushed manner.
